Authentic Spanish old style seafood restaurant. I walked past all the tourist traps with touts trying to get you to look at their menu. This place is low key, the staff are professional but not feigning. Its not posh but very authentic. From the 13 euro menu del dia I had fish soup, fried fish, a desert and a large glass of house white wine. Good honest food at a fantastic price.

Noisy. Casual dining with a good standard of food and reasonable prices for the type of restaurant it is. Very busy but the limited staff still manage to get back to you. Octopus was tender and potato salad was very tasty. Seafood soup was a bit salty. Sardines were cooked properly.

Every time we’re in Agaete, we eat at Restaurante Puerto De Laguete, it’s just that good. The fresh fish is always spot on, cooked perfectly without any fuss, and you can tell it’s as fresh as it gets. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. It’s one of those places that feels right, where you know you’ll leave happy.

We ordered the menu for 10€ which includes a starter, a main dish, a drink and dessert or coffee. The grilled fish was perfectly cooked and I enjoyed the dessert too. I highly reccomend this restaurant as they have great service and good food for an unmatchable price

Ten Euro meal: We had something to eat when the place was quiet at 7:00 pm on Saturday. Today it is closed at 9:30 pm. (Clocks change). This is our last full day, and my partner was in a very good mood. I noticed that the French couple on the adjoining table went a la carte, and they had a much more interesting meal. Personally I did not particularly like the canary stew or fish soup. However my partner liked her grilled sardines, and my fried breaded fish was acceptable. I also enjoyed the chilled red wine. What was really exceptional and unusual was the view from the window?

We came as part of the excursion tour, the food was tasty. For 3 courses (fish soup, paella, dessert) came to a reasonable price of 13€. It was definitely no frills service from the waiters but the restaurant was very busy. Overall if you don't mind it being a bit noisy and crowded I would recommend because the food is nice !!

Quick service, offers paella by plate in addition to buying a whole pan so good for solo travellers or groups with different tastes. Poor vegetarian options though.

This is a very typical old-fashioned Spanish seafront seafood restaurant; very large, high ceiling seating area with basic furniture and no frills. We went on a Sunday for lunch. This is probably the busiest time of the week as this port is very popular with locals, so we had to wait a little to sit, but not too long. Service was manic, but considering how busy they were, it was fine. We went for the seafood paella, as it was recommended, and it did not disappoint.
